Set 4 rosewood dining chairs, circa 1865, The cartouche shaped backs with foliate carving and a floral splat, the serpentine fronted stuffed seats covered in nailed velvet, the moulded seat rail with a central carved medallion, on hipped cabriole legs with tapering carved beads. These chairs are very distinctive with their carved details. They are designed, and also probably made, by Manchester based
