The only thing that you can safely trade for in bulk are commons/uncommons for decks (Yanma, Magnemite, Phanpy, etc), or average Trainer cards like Switch, Energy Retrieval, etc

Making both you and an opponent discard may not sound great, but if you build your deck to accommodate it, this seemingly symmetrical effect can feel way more one-sided
