As a child starting with pottery and painting Later taking felting, bookbinding, and paper making classes at the Mountain School of the Arts. Beatrix travelled to Whidbey Island for watercolour classes, and fibre arts at the Pacific Northwest School of the Arts. Beatrix is a self taught artist in soap and candle
