Co of New York. The piece is made of some type of molded material, probably Syroco, which is a wood composite. The clock is missing its winder, so I dont know if it is working, but I would assume that it would need work. The gold paper face has three perforations, located opposite from the back plate screws, so I would guess that those perforations were caused by the
