From a collection of block printed, hand painted chintz babies bonnets from Marken, The Netherlands circa 1800's to 1900. These bonnets were part of the traditional costume from this area of Holland which was very distinctive. This bonnet is in a delightful indigo blue and red block printed floral chintz , with a taupe and white woven trim all around the edge, you can still see remains of what is lefts of the
