Its got a lot more nostalgia than other recent (but also good) sets, making this a solid choice for someone who likes older favorites like Latios and Latias and (of course) Pikachu.

I could also see it as being an easy gateway into, or back into, the card game, since the way Arena can communicate information at a glance makes it easy to learn about all the new mechanics that have been introduced in the last few expansions
