Evidence suggests, however, that the composer was actually August Wilhelm Bach, one of Felix Mendelssohns teachers. Like much organ music, the work transcribes well for wind band, and is of moderately easy difficulty. Note that the transcription works well with smaller instrumentations and that there are no percussion parts.
